The Burnside family is commemorative of Burnside Street, which is known for being a thriving hub of activity, alive with famous venues, iconic record stores, creative expressions, and daily performances. However, it all began in 2008, with the founding of a small rum importer, called Eastside Distilling. Although it started quite small, today it is the first and only publicly traded distillery in Portland. It has developed and perfected spirits for over 12-years now, and they have many amazing brands in the family.

After a while, you will get hints of fruitcake, caramel, and apricot. The aroma is one of beauty, and it makes the taste even better. At first, you will be met with peppery wood and bitter tobacco plus a chocolate taste, together with vanilla and plums.
